Happy Thanksgiving...

First let me say that this picture cracks me up! This is Lucas' cousin Checoetah's son, Carter and Cade. Carter is looking all cute and posing with Cade, but Cade doesn't want any part of it. I think it is so funny. Typical Cade, he only wants to do what he wants to do and nothing else! :o)

Lucas' mom decided to have Thanksgiving at her house last Saturday. We had quite a house full of people. We all had a really good time. Lucas' mom made a delicious turkey and Ginger made a ham. All of the food was so good. Lucas made a pumpkin pecan pie. I don't like pecan pie, but as Lucas would say this pie was "Bombay!"

New Look!

I'm ready for Christmas! And, since Lucas won't let me decorate the house yet... I decided to decorate my blog! Enjoy! -Shaunna

Let the brainwashing begin!!!

My boss, Neal, gave Lucas and I tickets to the OU women's basketball game last Tuesday night. We decided to take Cade along and make it a family affair. We had a great time.

First we went and ate at JR's BBQ joint off of I-35. The food was pretty good. Cade had the macaroni and cheese and loved it. (the downside is that he is now refusing to eat his EasyMac!)

Then we headed over to Lloyd Noble for the game. This was a perfect game for Cade to go to. It was an exhibition game so it wasn't packed at all. However, it was still full enough to get the feeling of a game. Cade got to meet Sooner of the Boomer and Sooner duo. He really loved all the songs and music that they play. We clapped our hands and acted real silly and stuff. He loves that sort of thing. I took him down on the court to take pics with and meet the cheerleaders, but we couldn't catch them when they weren't busy cheering. So, we'll try again next time.

Anyway, enjoy the pictures of the game. There are also a couple of extra ones of him dressed up in his Elmo hat and mittens the other morning.
